I started off my year with a positive burst of energy after a wonderful vacation! Only to be stopped in my tracks in my first week back to work.
I was preparing for my Vision Workshop and super excited because I love this workshop! I also had a fairly large group of coaches joining me.
The “Ouch” came as I was putting the final touches on the workshop and the follow-up support I would be offering to those attending.
I was looking over my online Vision Course that I created 2 years ago to see what I might offer this year. I was expecting insights about what works to take people from a Vision to making that vision real. I did get that but in the process came the ouch.
I saw what I had created. I saw the beautiful Evolve Your Coaching Business map that shows everything a coach needs to succeed in business. It is really accurate and it brings the left and right brain together.
I saw the super inspiring Soul Strategy Manifesting Map that I use to help people jump-start their vision with a 21-day challenge. (Yes, I like Maps!)
I saw my soulsearch process, which has helped me create a wonderful reality from my visions for over a decade.
I saw the deck of cards that go with that process to make the daily habit of soul searching fun.
Right next to those were my affirmation cards to help build confidence in the coaches I work with. And last but not least, my role-playing cards for coaches to use at workshops to get their participants engaged and energized.
I saw all this and realized I had created it for a reason. To help people. My gift is putting structure to the creation process. AND making it fun as well as effective.
I realized I have once again discounted my gifts. I had created these structures and then put them aside and left them behind. Even though they really help people!
So the “Ouch” had a double-edged sting. My own feeling of having let myself down. Then, the bigger “Ouch” of realizing I had allowed my own limiting beliefs to get in the way of helping coaches who are doing amazing things with their own clients and communities.
In my own experience, and that of a coach, it seems that we discount the things that are the easiest for us to do and to offer – the most fun ones, the ones that just flow.
I encourage you to take a look to see if there is something you have to offer that you have discounted. It may hurt a little…ouch!
What you will gain, however, is something that will help others, and that’s worth whatever it takes to bring it into your awareness so that you may use it well.
I hope you learn from my ouchy experience! My wake-up call.
Take time, as this year kicks off, to look at what you already HAVE. What you have created. Ways you help people. What you take for granted. Strengths. Values. Ideas. Expertise. Experience. Accomplishments. Materials. Creations. Take them out of your closet and see what you have.
Dust them off and make a commitment to honoring them. Put them into the world. Have some fun with them!!
Maybe even go so far as doing some soul driven bragging about them!
Check out my community, where you will find a lot of my creations! Some of the ones described in the message and more! Be sure to reach out to me personally once you join, and let me know how I can support you to make your vision a reality.
