I love having the clean slate a new year offers, don’t you?
It is the one time of year when the focus for many people is on… what’s next… what will I do… who will I be… what will I have?
What will I create now?
Where am I going in 2020?
If you have been following this Destiny Vision email series, then you are super primed to look forward.
With the past clearly viewed and mined for wisdom… after diving into dreamland for some magical insight…
It’s time to create your 2020 vision for the new year. I just love that the name of this year – 2020 – is pointing us to having a clear vision!
It’s now time to put your vision together and prepare for action. Get ready to take those teeny tiny steps that will make your vision real.
This is the ONE thing that will make your year what you dream it to be.
This is where all the fun is! This is also often the most challenging part. Getting into action toward a clear vision is vulnerable and requires that you get support. No kidding!
The good news is the action steps you take can not only get you closer to your vision, but they also create an empowering experience that moves you past fears and creates something new and fulfilling.
I am a big fan of those teeny tiny steps on the soul’s journey. Those steps lead to the big leaps of faith and action needed to make a soul-driven vision a reality.
Are you ready to go? Is it time to begin making your 2020 Vision real?
Then read on!
I have found it can be helpful to have some guidelines and goalposts along the way to mark your progress.
One way to do this is to get out your notebook or journal and explore these areas:
- The patterns and themes I uncovered in my vision are:
- The most important experiences I want to create are:
- Where I most want to grow in my personal leadership is:
Thinking of goals as guidelines and not deadlines, look at the following time frames in order to begin identifying the more specific results you are seeking.
You can make up your own time frames as well. I suggest you have some that are close so you can feel their presence and use them to generate momentum and at least one that is far enough away to be Big and Inspiring!
My goals are:
- My 21-Day Goal is:
- My 6-Month Goal is:
- My 1 Year Goal is:
- My 5-Year Goal is:
- My Life Purpose Goal is:
In order to realize anything new in life, you need to change your behavior.
This means to take on new beliefs and perhaps making a shift in how you view your self.
One of my personal favorite visioning tools is a yearly intention.
My intention comes from a soulful place and is about who I am becoming and how I am staying true to my highest self.
I check in with my intention often to see if I am on track with what is most important and if I need to make a course correction because I have drifted. It’s a great tool to have.
To finish off your Destiny Vision for the year, I challenge you to go for your own personal gold by committing to new habits, taking on an empowered identity and creating an intention that makes your heart sing and perhaps makes you gulp!
Finish these sentences:
The habits that will manifest my vision are…
My identity that naturally cultivates these habits is…
My intention for this coming year is…
