Soul-Driven Action Brings Heart and Head Together

I call my business Soul Driven Success for a reason. I was in a business development program a few years ago as I began building my business academy. I ran into a challenge. 

My teacher encouraged me to focus on the money, “Call yourself the six-figure coach,” she told me more than once. 

I do help coaches achieve a six-figure income — sometimes even more — but that is not what motivates them to succeed. If it were, they would choose another profession. 

Most coaches want to build a business of their own so they can have the impact they want, organize their business activities in a way that works for them, and work with clients who bring them fulfillment. 

They want to live out their life purpose. 

And they want to make money doing it!

That’s a tall order! The only way I know to achieve that kind of success requires more than just knowing the linear steps to take. Though those steps are ones that you need to learn and actually take, they are only one piece of the puzzle. 

Once you know the steps to take, you see that business building has basic activities that include marketing and sales. In order to take action in a way that keeps you inspired and your eye on the prize, you need to be connected to your WHY, your values, your vision, and inner wisdom. 

This is so important. I studied it for many years. 
How does a person get into inspired action?
How does a person stay true to themselves while also using successful marketing strategies? 

I discovered there is actually a way of thinking and a process that connects us with our souls’ wisdom and helps put that wisdom into action. 

I call this process the Soulsearch process. I wrote a book about it and created an online course. It is a process that works every time to uncover your deeper truth, inspire you to stand on higher ground, and help you choose an action aligned with your values and purpose. 

I offer this today because I hear so many coaches struggling when they hit a challenge. They feel hopeless or defeated. The natural tendency is to “Get Into Action”. Unfortunately, the action they “get into” is usually directed by the saboteur. There is an urgency, a feeling of being “less than” or “an imposter” or overwhelmed by a great big “Should.” 

When you take action from that place, no matter how smart the action is, how right it might seem to your mind, it will not get you the results you are seeking. At best, your results will be mixed. 

To ensure you are taking soul-driven action, I suggest you play with my Soulsearch process.

1. The Narrative: Name what you want clarity around in a sentence or two. 
2. The Positive: Look for the positive things you already have in this area.
3. The Negative: Name the negative thoughts, fears, and doubts you have in this area.
4. Inspiration: Let go of the negative and find higher ground by connecting to your higher self and asking what is true here? 
5. Desire: What is one thing you want now? Standing on higher ground allows your inner wisdom to guide you.
6. Imagine: Play with ways your desire could become a reality. Things you might do, ways you could get support, and magical things that tickle your fancy. 
7. Creative Action: Choose one action that is inspired by your imagination. 

This will get you into soul-driven action every time!
