Judy Shevelev is an ACC and CPCC life coach and is accredited with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants as a positive reinforcement dog trainer. She has been coaching for 3 years, and training dogs and their people professionally for 15 years, first in Mexico, where she lived for 30 years, and now in the San Francisco Bay Area in California.
Her dog training practice has always focused on teaching people how to train and manage their dogs; however, she is now purposefully using her coaching skills as she works with people and their dogs so that people become more aware of how they influence their dogs’ behavior. They gain new insights, which motivates them to take the appropriate steps to strike a balance between their needs and their dog’s needs, to better understand canine communication and, ultimately, strengthen the bond with their dogs.
In addition, she coaches clients who deeply love their pets (of any kind), and have goals they want to achieve to lead a more joyous life. She uses mindfulness techniques and the bond with their pet in a variety of ways to give them the courage to move forward towards their goals.
As a lifelong animal lover and pet guardian, Judy knows first-hand how powerful the bond we have with our pets truly is. Her pets have also been her greatest teachers, and she is passionate about supporting her clients so that they can open themselves to receiving the wisdom their pets offer.
